What is Thai Massage?

Thai massage is a traditional therapeutic system combining acupressure, Indian Ayurvedic principles, and assisted yoga postures. It differs from other massage techniques because recipients are not just passive but are actively involved, moving through various yoga-like positions. Originating from Thailand, Thai massage aims to enhance flexibility, relieve muscle and joint tension, and balance the body's energy systems. It's both relaxing and energizing, with benefits extending to the mind, body, and spirit.

Thai Massage

Thai massage or Thai yoga massage is a traditional therapy combining acupressure, Indian Ayurvedic principles, and assisted yoga postures. The idea of Shen-lines alias energy-lines was first used is "Thai yoga massage". These are similar to nadis as per the philosophy of yoga by Gorakhnath.

Swedish Massage

Uses massage oils to facilitate smooth, gliding strokes over the entire body

Sports Massage

Sports massage is focused and systematic, targeting muscles that are used in a specific sport. It uses various techniques to decrease muscle pain and improve recovery, as well as improve overall range of motion and flexibility to support safe and effective movement.

Therapeutic Massage

Manipulation of the body's soft tissue to stimulate circulation and promote relaxation

Combination Massage

We’ll combine Thai / Swedish / Shiatsu / Tui Na / Deep Tissue. Most popular option. Great for beginners!

Reflexology Massage

Reflexology massage is a therapeutic method of relieving pain and promoting good health by stimulating predefined pressure points on the feet and hands. This controlled pressure alleviates the source of the discomfort in the absence of any external symptoms.

Pregnancy Massage

Therapy specifically tailored to the unique needs of pregnant women and their changing bodies. Commonly referred to as prenatal massage. A type of therapeutic massage designed specifically for expectant mothers.

Deep Tissue Massage

Deep tissue massage techniques are used to break up scar tissue and physically break down muscle "knots" or adhesions (bands of painful, rigid tissue) that can disrupt circulation and cause pain, limited range of motion, and inflammation. While some of the strokes may feel the same as those used in Swedish massage therapy, deep tissue massage isn't a stronger version of a Swedish massage.

Add-ons:

We also offer a number of modalities to add to your massage experience including Hot Stone, CBD Oil, Thai Herbal Ball, Essential Oils and Cupping.
